Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can boost the stats of a piece of equipment and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random enhancements that are applied.

For instance, the premium racial shield Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more marketable over the original version that is not upgraded.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item, such as a weapon, armor, or rings. This replaces the item upgrader with another item upgrader mod of the same type however with different benefits. Reroll tokens are an affordable option to upgrade equipment. They don't preserve the original item's level and any wasted resources won't get compensated.

Survivors may acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be located in crates and chests or purchased from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of a piece of equipment, such as increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.

Players can reroll their equipment into three attributes that include physical power, magical power and health. Physical power increases the damage done by melee and weapons, while spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player an extra health.

There are three types of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a better quality, with the requirement of a higher-quality reroll token order to create it. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the spot until the next success result is to be rerolled. This allows you to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they display an explanation and icon for the appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's store will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.

This means that you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This affects the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop sells to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that increase the value of an item by improving its stats or attributes. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click on the "level up" button. The menu will be displayed showing the item's current level and what it will be when being upgraded, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.

After deciding on what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. When the requirements have been fulfilled, the player may select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be raised in level a certain percentage. The upgrade process can last from a few seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is completely risk-free and does not affect the durability of the item. This makes the system an ideal way for players to get an advantage in combat without straining their bank account. Moreover players can transfer experience and the progress of an upgraded item onto a new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for new players. There are many ways to acquire them. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition, players can take apart higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that lets players boost the base stats of weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. It is achieved by the combination of an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will gain an upgraded level. The process will continue until the item is at its highest level.

Items with upgraded base stats will display a blue icon in their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components don't stack with one another, and can only be added to one Best item upgrader at one time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a certain quantity of items to be applied in addition to a minimum level for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add items to be upgraded. On the right, a preview shows what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Once the player has enough items by pressing the yellow arrow, it will initiate the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time it is upgraded the base stats of an item will increase by only a tiny amount. The highest level for an item is 19.

Once an item reaches the maximum level, its upgrades will no longer be available for it. Likewise, once an item reaches the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to that track will have discounted prices.

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets in order to provide an additional effect or bonus when the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted, acquired through questing, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs which can be replaced and removed at any time.

Requirements

Items upgrades allow players to boost certain stats of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements to upgrade an item will vary based on the item type however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

The upgrade items can be used to make sets and weapons for added effects or a higher item upgrader kit level. These upgrades can come from many sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.

Upgrades can boost the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can increase the stats of the item.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and gives an additional 20% chance of blocking. The dps "Wildfire", however increases damage to weapons.

Some items benefit from being upgraded less because of their improved stats and more because it allows players to get the most value from a perfect roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by the melee PvP communities and can be worth 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.

The game will display the requirements once you choose the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. These include the type of Best item upgrade (either Armor or Weapon), the tier of that item, the upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

The game will place an item in your inventory once you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how far you are towards completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
